SWTX Celebrates Academic Excellence with Spring 2025 President's and Dean's Lists
Uvalde, TX, June 25, 2025 - Southwest Texas College (SWTX) President Dr. Hector Gonzales and April Ruhmann, Dean of Applied Sciences and Liberal Arts, proudly recognize 564 exceptional students for their outstanding academic achievements during the Spring 2025 semester.
Full-time students enrolled in 12 or more credit hours are eligible for these prestigious academic honors. The President's List celebrates students who achieved a perfect 4.0 grade-point average (GPA), while the Dean's List honors those who earned a GPA of 3.6 or higher.
This semester, 302 students earned a place on the President's List, demonstrating unwavering dedication and academic excellence. Additionally, 262 students were named to the Dean's List for their consistent and commendable academic performance.
Dr. Gonzales praised the honorees, stating, "We are incredibly proud of these students for their hard work and commitment to academic success. Their achievements reflect the strength of our academic programs and the determination of our student body."
