Weather Delay Alert: Southwest Texas College will open on a delayed schedule Monday, January 26th, due to weather.

All SWTX campuses and offices will remain closed Monday morning, and employees should report at 1:00 pm when campus reopens. Classes are canceled for Monday and will resume on a normal schedule Tuesday, January 27th. Academic Calendar Dates

The academic calendar reflects important student semester dates, deadlines, and holidays scheduled for all campus locations. Revisions may occur as needed by official action of Southwest Texas College.

Official Census Dates

For Spring 2026, the official enrollment date is Tuesday, January 20th (6th class day) for the 1st 8 Week Semester and Wednesday, January 28th (12th class day) for the 16 Week Semester. Academic Calendar

1098-T Tuition Statements

Tuition Tax Statements will be available to students on Saturday, January 31st. Students can log in to Self-Service as soon as possible and consent to view the form online via the Financial Information section. If no consent is received, a paper version of the form will be sent via postal mail on Saturday, January 31st.

Withdrawal Deadline

The last day to drop a class with a “W” for the Spring 2026 1st 8 Week Semester is Friday, February 6th, at 4:00 pm. To complete the Class Withdrawal Form, please download the form to your computer and enter your information into the fillable fields. Once you have completed the form, save your changes and schedule an appointment with your Success Coach to get it signed before submitting it to the Office of the Registrar. Class Withdrawal Form
