Graduation Application

Students eligible to graduate must complete and submit an application for graduation, which may be obtained in person or online. To obtain it in person, Uvalde students must go to the Rodolfo R. and Dolores Flores Student Services Building (Registrar's Office). Applications can be picked up at the Administration Building of the Del Rio, Eagle Pass, and Crystal City campuses.

Please mail the graduation application form with a money order (no checks, please) made payable to SWTJC to:

Fall Graduation - The application deadline has been extended to Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 6:00 pm.

Commencement Ceremony

The commencement ceremony will be held on Tuesday, December 17th, at 7:00 pm, at the International Center for Trade in Eagle Pass. Address to the venue is 3295 Bob Rogers, Eagle Pass, TX 78852. The venue is located behind the SWTX Eagle Pass campus.

IMPORTANT…PLEASE READ - Venue entry & ticket distribution for family and friends

Due to limited capacity of the venue, in addition to safety and security, graduates will receive “6 tickets” each to distribute to family and friends. Graduates should have their gowns on while in line to enter venue and be directed to their check-in station.

All guests, including graduates will enter the venue at the main front entrance. Everyone entering the venue will be subject to a security screening.

Services for Disabilities

In addition to existing designated parking spaces, extra handicap parking will be reserved and located on the left side of the venue until full however please be aware this space is limited. Valid decal must be displayed in the vehicle upon arrival.

Diplomas

Diplomas will be mailed out in January 2025 pending that there are no institutional holds.

All Students

Candidates for graduation must clear all obligations (fines, transcripts, checked-out devices, etc.) with the college before receiving their diploma or SWTX official transcripts.
