Remote Student Services
Our faculty and staff are working hard to make sure you have the support you need to succeed. We are working diligently to provide our students with remote and in-person support services.
Student Success Center
Located in Uvalde, Eagle Pass, Del Rio, Crystal City, and with email support for off-campus students, the Student Success Center is open to all students. This center provides computer access, tutoring services in all subjects, and equipment and textbook rentals to students.

An extension of the Student Success Center, the Writing Center offers support for writing-intensive courses or assignments.

TRiO Student Support Services
This service is a federally funded program that serves a specific student demographic, focusing on first-generation, first-generation, disabled students. Visit the SSS page for more details.
TRiO Educational Opportunity Centers
The Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC) program provides counseling and information on college admission and financial aid to qualified adults who want to enter or continue a program of post-secondary education. EOC is a federally funded program that counsels participants on financial aid options and assists in the college admission process. The goal of EOC is to increase the number of adult participants who enroll in post-secondary education institutions.
TRiO Upward Bound
Upward Bound provides low-income and first-generation high school students with academic, cultural, and personal support for high school graduation, postsecondary enrollment, and lifelong success.

Cowboy Pantry
The Cowboy Pantry provides food and basic necessities to SWTX students at no cost. The Cowboy Pantry aims to decrease the impact that food insecurities have on the academic success of our students.
DHSI VIDA
The SWTX Developing Hispanic Serving Institution (DHSI) project, called VIDA (Values, Identity, Diversity, and Advocacy), includes improving academic and student support services for underserved students to meet social, emotional, and academic needs and to increase the access, affordability, completion, and post-enrollment success of underserved students.

Carl D. Perkins Assistance
The Carl D. Perkins grant assists qualified students enrolled in technical programs.
eCashier
eCashier is an online payment program to help students finance their education. Students who choose to use this service may select installment plans that are spread over several months, depending on the length of the semester.
