What is a STEM Career? STEM Careers are careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Medicine -- the careers that will be in demand in the future and will create the economy of tomorrow.

In order to provide students the means to pursue a STEM Career, Southwest Texas Junior College has established several career pathways with several universities - the most notable being the Civil Engineering Career pathway with Angelo State University. These career pathways offer students the means and guidance towards not only attaining their associate degree but also their bachelor's degree and a path towards an intended career in their discipline.
