Meet with a University Representative

University representatives from all around the state of Texas and out-of-state visit Southwest Texas Junior College to meet with students every semester.

How Will Meeting with University Representatives Help Me?

Your personal interaction with university representatives may include:

  • Exposure to colleges or universities you might not have been aware of or initially considered.
  • Gather information and ask specific questions about the college or university.
  • Present your transcripts to get a tentative idea about your admission eligibility.
  • Allows you to put a “name to a face”; in other words, you have a specific person (admissions counselor) with whom to make contact with at the college or university.
