SWTX Hosts First National CTE Letter of Intent Signing Day

Uvalde, TX, March 10, 2025 - Southwest Texas College is proud to announce the National CTE Letter of Intent Signing Day on April 10, 2025, at 11 AM. This special event will be hosted simultaneously at our campuses in Uvalde, Del Rio, and Eagle Pass.

The National CTE Letter of Intent Signing Day aims to honor and recognize the value of skilled trades and show our support for students dedicated to pursuing a career in technical education. This event targets all current Basic Level Certificate students, providing them with the opportunity to sign a letter of intent to enroll in one of our Advanced Level Certificates (2-Year Programs).

The programs participating in the signing day event include:

Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology - Advanced Level One Certificate
Airframe Mechanics - Level 2 Certificate
Automotive Technology - Advanced Level One Certificate
Construction Science - Associate of Applied Science Degree
Cybersecurity Specialist - Advanced Level One Certificate
Diesel Technology - Advanced Level One Certificate
Diesel Technology Specialized in Heavy Equipment - Advanced Level One Certificate
Welding Technology - Advanced Level One Certificate
